Ways to Give

The ARL/SRI is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization. We are governed by an all-volunteer board of directors who are responsible for establishing the organization's policies and for assuring the League's financial soundness. We are funded solely by donations. These donations come in many forms; as gifts from private individuals, as sponsorships from businesses, as grants from foundations, and as "in-kind" contributions of goods and services. Our board and staff are dedicated to the careful stewardship of these gifts to assure the future viability and vitality of our organization.

One person can make a difference by making a donation that can save the life of an animal. There are many different ways you can make a donation to the ARL/SRI.

• One Time Giving:

Individual donors provide the support we need to continue our mission of finding homeless animals their new forever homes.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated. 

• Honor Giving:

Donating to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI is a wonderful way to celebrate the special pets, people, and events in your life. Sponsoring a cage in someone’s honor makes a great birthday, wedding, holiday or anniversary gift.

By sponsoring a cage you are helping in the feeding, care, routine medical care, and maintenance of the animals that are waiting for their new forever homes!

The donation is $100 to sponsor a cage for a year. A placard with your name, memorial or personal inscription of your choice will be placed on the front of your cage. Please see attached form to fill out: Adoptacage

• Donate Your Vehicle:

Wondering what to do with your used car or truck? Donating your old vehicle to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI is convenient, easy, and may qualify you for a tax deduction. All you need to do is complete our simple online donation form or call 1-800-628-2277 and we’ll take care of the rest. We will pick up your vehicle, arrange to have your vehicle towed and provide you with a tax-deductible receipt all at no charge to you.

• Planned Giving:

We know you care about the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI because your faithful and generous donations make possible our work on behalf of at the shelter. But what about the future? • Work Place Giving:
