Happy Endings

Tory (formally known as Frito)
I am so happy that Jennifer had asked me to foster Tory for the shelter. At first I thought it was only going to be for a few weeks but it was for a month. I was concerned for what if my dog, Duncan and Tory got along, well know I have Tory and Duncan and I couldn’t be happier. She makes you laugh all day long. Always jumping into shopping bags and running around the apartment with Duncan, he chases her and she chases him. Tory is such a love bug, always waiting for me at the door with Duncan when I get home. She has a purr that is so loud that I cannot fall asleep till she stops J Tory loves to cuddle with me and even Duncan. She still has not grown into her tail! Alexis

Kali (formerly Duchess)
Hi Jennifer… I just wanted to send you a picture of Kali (formerly Duchess). We are just loving her so much! It didn't take her too long to finally start venturing out of the bedroom and into the rest of the house. She loves to be with people…if you sit on the couch, your lap becomes prime real estate. My husband's lap seems to be her lap of choice. We've also discovered that she loves to chase the laser. She actually sits in a particular spot at night time and waits for it. Quite funny. Thanks again!! Patty Marshall

Skiddie
Hello! It's Tucker Curtis; I adopted Skiddie a few yearsago, and she is doing great! She has really come out of her shell, and is getting more social every day. I love it when she sleeps with me, and her purr is so cute; it's like motor! We are like best friends now.

Adoption
Adoption Policy
An adoption application must be completed before you can adopt an animal from our shelter. The Adoption_Application is designed to help us help you in the search for the best pet for your home and lifestyle. We do all we can to assure our animals a good placement with a family they will be able to stay with in a "forever home." If the applicant has resident dogs, a "meet and greet" will be scheduled prior to the adoption being processed to better gauge how the new pet will fit in with animals currently living in your home.
IMPORTANT! To expedite the adoption process, please bring (to the shelter) proof of homeownership and a copy of your most current veterinary records to show that current pets are up-to-date on their vaccinations. Also, if you rent, please bring along a copy of your lease showing pets are allowed. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
